Cherry Chia GREEN Parfait / by lee tilghman

I love monster breakfasts like this. Post spinning, it’s a pretty rad way to cool down, get in my greens, pretend I’m in Bali, and fuel up for the day. I usually eat half and bring the rest to work and eat slowly while doing emails at my desk in the morning. 

I can and can't believe I'm eating broccoli for breakfast :) I also added a tsp Philosophie green dream superfood blend to this parfait which contains a handful of freeze-dried raw and organic greens. So much goodness!

For the parfait, you will want to blend the cherry layer and the green layer seperately and store them in the freezer while you prepare the rest of the breakfast so that it doesn't melt.

Cherry Layer:
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1.5 frozen banana
1/2 cup coconut water
blended, set in freezer

Green Layer:
1/2 cup raw organic broccoli
1 tsp Philosophie green powder
2/3 cup almond milk
3 organic romaine leaves
blende, set in freezer

Chia Layer:
3 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup almond milk
shaken well & left to set overnight

Topped this with a fresh anjou pear, buckwheat, shredded coconut, and cookie dough bites.
