This is one of my newest flavor combinations of smoothie bowls, and I can't get enough of it. The flavors of this bowl are to die for - and the texture is one of the creamiest, dreamiest of them all!! The bee pollen adds an enjoyable floral note to the bowl, while the spirulina and chlorella balance it out with subtle bitter notes. It's a bowl that leaves me singing for more!!

Chlorella is a member of the algae family. It is a wonderful addition to your diet - but some people may have trouble acclimating to its strong taste. Try adding a small amount to your diet once a week. I love mixing it in smoothies or hummus or salad dressings to balance out its strong taste. It is highly nutritious and is believed to improve digestion, brain function, and improve the complexion of skin, hair, and nails with its high protein content.  I use Sun Potion, and you can buy some of their amazing chlorella here.
